DGKP - qualified healthcare and nursing staff: Expertise for professional patient care
Nurses are a central pillar of the healthcare system and provide comprehensive care and support for patients in hospitals, outpatient clinics and care facilities. DGKPs combine medical expertise, nursing skills and social sensitivity and thus make a significant contribution to the recovery and well-being of patients.
The core tasks of a DGKP include monitoring the state of health, carrying out medical measures and assisting with diagnoses and therapies. They measure vital signs, administer medication, administer infusions and assist with medical procedures. The safety and well-being of the patient is always at the forefront.
In addition to direct care and treatment, DGKPs also take on coordinating tasks. They document care processes, create care documentation and liaise with doctors and other healthcare professionals. This close cooperation enables holistic care and smooth processes in the medical facility.
Another important aspect of the DGKP's work is counselling and supporting patients and their relatives. Whether it's support in everyday life, information about illnesses or help with aftercare - DGKPs impart knowledge in an understandable, empathetic and practical way. This builds trust and makes a significant contribution to patients' quality of life.
DGKPs are also responsible for preventative measures and health promotion. They support patients in leading a healthy lifestyle, promote mobility, hygiene and nutrition and thus actively contribute to the prevention of illness.
Overall, the DGKP is an indispensable part of the healthcare system. They combine medical expertise with empathy, organisational talent and social skills. Whether in acute care, rehabilitation or outpatient care - DGKPs ensure professional, empathetic and comprehensive care and are therefore essential for the well-being and health of patients.
